How to use

How to use the text to handwriting converter

This guide walks you from a blank page to a finished handwritten sheet. For most people the best start is a readable handwriting style, enough margin, and a quick preview before you export.

Short answer: type or paste your text, pick a handwriting style, tune the variance and paper, preview the page, then download an image or a PDF when the layout looks right.

Quick start

Step 1

Add your text

Open the converter and type or paste your text into the editor. You can also import text files or scan a photo of a printed page, and the live preview updates with every change.

Step 2

Choose a handwriting style

Pick one of the built in hands, from neat print to flowing cursive, then set the ink size and line height. To write in your own hand, upload a font or build one in the font maker.

Step 3

Make it look human

Open the variance panel and raise the baseline drift, rotation wobble, and spacing a little at a time. Tap Reshuffle for a fresh set of natural offsets while keeping your text.

Step 4

Set paper, ink, and a pen

Choose a region to see the sheets used there, then set the page size, texture, and margin. Pick an ink colour and a pen, from a crisp gel to a soft pencil.

Step 5

Choose Print or Photo

Print gives a clean flat sheet for paper or PDF, while Photo places your page on a surface with shadow and light. For the most real result, upload a photo of an actual sheet and drag the corners onto the page.

Step 6

Preview and export

Zoom in to check the page at full size, then download a high resolution image, save a vector copy, or print straight to a PDF. Every step runs locally, so nothing leaves your device.

The controls that matter most

Focus on readability and page fit first. Effects are useful only after the handwriting and layout already work.

Text and formatting

Plain text works best. Use the toolbar to bold, italic, underline, or list a selection, and recolour single words while the rest of the page keeps its ink.

Handwriting and spacing

Choose the font first, then tune ink size, line height, and word spacing so the writing reads naturally and sits on the ruling.

Paper and margins

Set the paper style and margin early. Adjusting the margin usually fixes a crowded page faster than changing anything else.

Realism and output

Add drift, wobble, and texture lightly, then pick Print for a clean sheet or Photo for a notebook style scene.

Questions about the converter

How do I convert typed text to handwriting?
Type or paste your text, choose a handwriting style, add a little variance, then export the page as an image or a PDF.
Should I use Print or Photo mode?
Start with Print for clean pages you want to save or print. Choose Photo when a notebook style scene matters more than a flat page.
Can I use my own handwriting?
Yes. Upload a TTF, OTF, or WOFF font, or create one in the handwriting font maker, then select it in the style panel.
Is my text kept private?
Yes. The converter runs entirely in your browser, so your text, fonts, and photos are never uploaded.
